"This photo was taken at Mamallapuram,Chennai.Mamallapuram was built by an ancient King Pallava. The mamallapuram statues are carved from a single stone and this is the speciality of Mamallapuram photos.A great touring spot for people living in chennai."
This photo is of poor man's snack called "Bhajji".This is favourite snack available at roadside teashops all over Tamilnadu. "Bhajji" is made up slices of plantain, onion or potato or chilli soaked in kadalai maavu and fried in cooking oil. This with tea make a good combination. It is available in Kerala also-but it is cooked in coconut oil in Kerala.
This photo is taken by me at my friend senthil murugan's village house. This sand cooking pot used extensively during olden days but nowadays limited to the villages. This kind of pots are cheap and they use "Viragu" or "Sulli" (tree branches) as fuel by burning them. only flip side is the smoke from these pots are too much and amounts to a bit of uncomfortability for the cook.
